About

Our story

A warmly lit, plant-filled haven guided by practices that nurture the whole person.

Amanda, Ren, and Likhita of Luna Alchemy

The Sanctuary

Meet the Collective

Luna Alchemy began with sound: crystal bowls, resonance, and the discovery that deep rest can reach places effort cannot. Amanda began her sound healing journey in the summer of 2023 and created Luna Alchemy for people navigating life's transitions - anyone seeking relief from stress, exploring healing practices, or simply longing for a peaceful place to land.

What began as Amanda's dream for a sound healing sanctuary naturally evolved when it became clear that The Yellow Room and Luna Alchemy's offerings and intentions for serving the community were deeply aligned. By combining our gifts and resources, we created The Luna Alchemy Collective - a sanctuary for rest, restoration, and transformation.

Today, Amanda, Likhita, and Ren work collaboratively to steward the vision while each sharing their unique gifts. Through yoga, sound healing, movement, ceremony, bodywork, energy work, creative arts, and community gatherings, this collective is a place where people feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to reconnect with themselves.

Whether you're joining us for a class, workshop, session, or simply stepping through the doors for the first time, our hope is that you'll find more than a wellness studio. We hope you'll find a place to exhale, belong, and return to yourself.

The practitioners

Luna Alchemy is home to Sandpoint-area teachers and practitioners - yoga and movement teachers, sound healers, reiki practitioners, and bodyworkers, each bringing years of practice and their own way of holding space.

Amanda Bailey, practitioner at Luna Alchemy

Amanda Bailey

Read bio

Amanda Bailey is passionate about creating spaces where people can simply arrive as they are, without expectation, performance, or pressure.

Amanda believes that healing doesn't come from becoming someone new - it comes from returning to ourselves. Through mindful movement, meditation, sound healing, and immersive retreats, she encourages others to cultivate presence, resilience, and self-compassion while reconnecting with the wisdom that already exists within them.

As a Hot Pilates instructor, sound healing facilitator, microblading artist, entrepreneur, and founder of Luna Alchemy, Amanda is known for her nurturing presence and intuitive guidance. Her sound journeys are immersive experiences designed to support deep relaxation, reflection, and restoration. Whether someone is navigating a life transition, carrying the weight of everyday stress, or simply longing for a moment to breathe, she creates an environment where people often feel deeply held, supported, and renewed.

When she's not teaching, facilitating sound journeys, creating beautiful brows, or hosting retreats, Amanda can often be found exploring the mountains, hiking, paddleboarding, or spending time with her two adventurous boys. She believes some of life's greatest healing happens through simple moments - sharing a meal, walking beneath the trees, taking a deep breath, and connecting in genuine community.

Likhita Living, practitioner at Luna Alchemy

Likhita Living

Read bio

Likhita is a yoga teacher, movement guide, ceremony facilitator, ThetaHealing practitioner, and the creator of E-Motion Movement. Through these practices, she creates grounded and welcoming spaces where people can soften, listen inward, and reconnect with their own wisdom.

Her approach is intuitive, embodied, and deeply rooted in the belief that the body is an intelligent instrument - one that is always communicating, guiding, and inviting us into greater presence. Her yoga classes are woven around themes, intention, philosophy, and reflection, allowing students to drop more deeply into their bodies and experience the practice beyond the asana. She is especially passionate about Yin Yoga and the wisdom it offers: through longer holds, stillness, and mindful sensation, students learn to remain present with discomfort rather than immediately resisting, fixing, or escaping it.

Beyond yoga, Likhita guides ecstatic dance through thoughtfully curated musical journeys that invite freedom, play, and authentic expression. Through E-Motion Movement, cacao ceremony, and one-on-one ThetaHealing sessions, she creates opportunities for emotional release, deeper self-awareness, and meaningful connection. Across every offering, her work carries the same invitation: to slow down, come home to the body, and trust what is within.

Noelle Zmuda

Read bio

Noelle began practicing yoga 15 years ago, sparked by the transformative experience of motherhood. Since then, she has immersed herself in the practice - a space for continual learning, presence, and transformation, whether through movement, stillness, breathwork, meditation, or group work.

She infuses a mix of modalities and training in different fields, from yogic principles to somatic experiencing with attention to the nervous system and trauma, melding them together in a way that informs and forms her own creative style - a style that neither ignores the technical, nor forgets the mystical aspects of life.

One longtime student reflects: “I love Noelle's classes because she is amazing at creating a flow that brings new life to all areas of my body, and frankly, my mind, with spot-on breath and alignment cueing - as well as creating a space that is relaxing yet never boring, because she has new variations in each practice.”

Arleen Erland, practitioner at Luna Alchemy

Arleen Erland

Read bio

Arleen is a 25-year, diversely trained, trauma-focused clinician with extensive experience across a wide range of clinical presentations. She is licensed in eight states - and while relocating to one of them, she fell in love with Sandpoint after her first unsuspecting visit to Evans Brothers for a quick coffee. Sandpoint is now home.

Arleen believes a good practitioner is one who has been on their own healing journey - a practitioner cannot fully show the way to a place they have not yet been themselves. Her work incorporates somatic breathwork and nervous-system healing practices for people carrying trauma, accumulated stressors, unprocessed emotions, and limiting beliefs they may not even be aware of. She is also a certified HeartMath practitioner who incorporates heart coherence and teaches heart-rate-variability training as part of healing the central nervous system.

Why does she do this work? To heal connection. First we must connect to ourselves, so that we can fully connect to others and create space within to fully experience this life.
